Defense Manufacturing Conference 2022

AAPlasma returned last month from a productive and exciting Defense Manufacturers Conference, which took place from December 5th through the 8th in Tampa, Florida. The DMC is an annual event that brings together scientists, engineers, administrators, and policy makers across the defense manufacturing industrial base. It is an opportunity for leaders and experts from government, industry, and academia to exchange information and perspectives on defense manufacturing policies, funding opportunities, and manufacturing innovations that will benefit our nation’s defense manufacturing industrial base.

CEO Greg Fridman, and COO Charles Bailey spent the week on the conference floor demonstrating some of AAPlasma’s latest achievements: 1) plasma treatment of actinic keratosis and other skin lesions; 2) new pulsed power system for various applications (air cleaning was demonstrated); and 3) portable 300 Watt gliding arc coating deposition system.

AAPlasma enjoyed the opportunity to exhibit our new products, prototypes, and design improvements while collaborating with attendees from across the defense manufacturing sector. It was great to see all of the familiar faces, and to meet some new colleagues whom we hope will become familiar over time!

AAPlasma is grateful to be part of such a vibrant and innovative community, and we look forward to returning to DMC next year. Until then, you can keep up with us by visiting our website and following us on LinkedIn.
